Team of volunteer Ministers bringing humanitarian aid reached their destination – Bosnian town of Orasje. Food and water went straight to Red Cross warehouse from were it will be distributed to people evacuated from flooded areas. High capacity water pump that the team brought was given to Crisis Headquarter and is being put to use for pumping flood water and mud out of the basements.

Now when water receded from most of the flooded areas the sheer size of the damage becomes clearly visible. To prevent epidemics all the furniture that was destroyed by water needs to be taken out of the houses and burned. Most of electrical appliances are beyond repair. Many houses are structurally damaged by water and some of the houses will need to be demolished.

Agriculture suffered badly. More than 70% of all crops was destroyed, hundreds of thousand of farm animals died. As agriculture was the main income source in those areas, many families are now left with no means to repair their damaged houses. Situation is grim and lot of help is needed.

Most needed items are canned food, pickled vegetables, chemicals for disinfection of houses and water wells, and dehumidifiers – machines for drying out humidity from walls. Any donation you can make for this purpose is still welcome and needed.
