Thank you IAS for sponsoring help to Bosnia and Herzegovina

Volunteer Ministers are showing their thank to the IAS who sponsored their work in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Volunteer Ministers are showing their thank to the IAS who sponsored their work in Bosnia and Herzegovina

IAS sponsored Volunteer Minister help in flooded villages of Bosnia and Herzegovina and thus helped many people in need.

The IAS (International Association of Scientologists) is the official membership organization of Scientology, the most vital movement on Earth today.

A Scientologist is defined as “essentially one who betters the conditions of himself and the conditions of others by using Scientology technology.”

The IAS is made up of individual Scientologists who desire to change conditions on this planet for the better. Its purpose is:

To unite, advance, support and protect the Scientology religion and Scientologists in all parts of the world, so as to achieve the aims of Scientology as originated by L. Ron Hubbard.

Through their participation, membership fees and donations, members of the IAS support many efforts geared toward achieving the aims of Scientology.

Their help can be seen in the efforts of thousands of Scientology Volunteer Ministers, providing succor to those affected by the tsunami in Southeast Asia or Hurricane Katrina in the United States, to cite but two recent examples, and in countless individual communities around the globe on a daily basis.

Moreover, with perhaps less obvious but no less urgent epidemics of illiteracy, drug abuse, crime and immorality, IAS members support and carry out programs that are effectively combating these modern-day plagues.

In the field of human rights, here again the IAS membership stands to the fore, both through direct actions in defense of human rights and in support of massive public awareness campaigns aimed at making human rights a universal fact.

Membership fees in the IAS are invested in the dissemination and expansion of Scientology, so that the solutions found in Scientology can be used to improve conditions everywhere.

Family is thanking for the received help to the Volunteer Ministers

“Just after the withdrawal of water from the flooded village, in help clearing up the houses and other buildings, the volunteers came to us who have come from many different countries to give aid to the residents of our villages, Kopanice and Vidovice. They worked on clearing destroyed furniture and equipment, floors and cleaning the garbage on the yards which was inflicted by the water. They participated in the unloading of humanitarian aid and they organized massages to our locals very often. They also organized many seminars about the prevention of drugs, alcohol and violence, and other themes. In my home, they were throwing out furniture and equipment, and they also helped with demolition of the house destroyed by the water. They helped with cleaning up the yard and with the transportation of construction materials. For all that they have helped us, always cheerful and smiling, my family is very grateful to them.”  – Staško Jović, Kopanice, August 2014

Family Jovic is one of many who received hard hit by the May 2014 floods. Their house was ruined and they have to build their new living place. They were very much pleased by the help provided by Volunteer Ministers and was very thankful for help given to them.

There are families in Kopanice village who still do not have proper living spaces, still have to cook outside the house and still need a lot of financial support so to make at least basic living spaces for their family members.

Extreme hard job – house damaged by water taken down

May floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina caused serious damages on the family houses.  Village of Kopanice was fully flooded by water. Village Vidovice was flooded fully with few houses without serious damage. Each house which was visited by water from the flood had damage on it. Some houses got damaged to the degree where the repair is not possible. Volunteer Ministers of Church of Scientology helped in this action so that new houses can be build up when possible.
